It's a well-written story. I loved Cole. He is often misjudged, but in fact he is a great guy, an honest person, and just someone trying to outrun his past. Maddie was a little difficult to like for me. I really don't like to read about insecure woman. I prefer my heroines to be strong, independent, and sure of themselves. Although her characters fits the story so as I got to know her better I started to like her. They're both perfect for each other, chemistry between them is amazing.

Maddie hasn't date in a long time. She doesn't think that any good guy will be interested in dating her. When it comes to men she has no confidence, and is completely clueless as to how to impress them. But when comes to running her kitchen she is an entirely different person. She is bossy, and wants everything to go her way. When her kitchen help leaves her alone during a busy night she has to ask for help....

Cole happens to be looking for odd jobs to do until he can open his own shop. When Maddie asks him to help he the kitchen he says yes. After all how difficult can washing dishes be... the only problem is that Maddie is hot and he has hard time focusing on his work.

Soon the tow of them becomes friends. They're helping each other. Cole is also coaching her to catch a guy's attention. Although he doesn't think she needs it but as long as he is getting paid he doesn't mind helping her out... Now only if his past stays in the past then all will be well.

All in all it is a good read. I enjoyed the story and would recommend it to contemporary romance fans.
