Don't Bite the Bridesmaid (Sons of Kane #1) by Tiffany Allee

"Description"
Alice Shepard needs one thing: a date for her sister's wedding. And not just any date. A hunk who will make her fiancĂ© rue the day he left her for her best friend. Her drop-dead gorgeous neighbor fits the bill—even if he is a bit quirky and never comes out during the day—and Alice has downed just enough appletinis to ask him. But she makes it quite clear that there will be no funny business.

Spending a week on a cruise ship full of humans while sleeping close to his sexy next-door neighbor sounds like a helluva bad idea to vampire Noah Thorpe. But his friends need time to get him out of a shotgun wedding—a vampire bonding that will tie his fate to a female vampire he's never met. And Alice's offer comes at just the right time.

What could possibly go wrong?
"Review"
This book is not the usual vampire story which is I think a positive point but it isn't anything exceptional either. It is just a nice and interesting story which can be enjoyed if you are not looking for something amazing.
Noah is a Vampire who has been Alice's neighbor for a while now. He is in a fix and must get out of the city for a few days to avoid an arranged vampire "bonding". Alice's sister is marrying her ex's brother and she needs a date for the wedding to show her ex that she is over him. This situation can work for both of them. When she asks Noah to be her pretend-boyfriend he agrees but this seemingly harmless, mutually beneficial plan turns very complicated when they start having real feelings for each other.
Noah can't tell her that he is a vampire and Alice can't trust anyone after the way her ex treated her by cheating on her with her best friend. How will their relationship work?
The book is funny and cute and has some really great parts but overall the plot is average. Still its a good read if you like vampires ;)
